About TSM Raids

Hope as TSM guild application says, by now, you have done...
1. Reading TSM guild charter http://eq2.3d-olg.net/community/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6
2. Knowing our raid time (or play time) listed in TSM Recruitment Information http://eq2.3d-olg.net/community/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=66
3. Finished registering to forum and ready to keep eye on mob's strategies and so on at least once a week.
4. Finished resistering to TSM dkp site and learned how to bid and bidding rules. dkp rule link and dkp site

As most of us agree, we don't want to waste our raid time to explain how to for each mob especially on mobs that we have been farming before each pulls during our raid time.

Please read each strategy time ahead, ask away if you don't understand any/part of it or can't find any English source information in forum ahead of time.

Raid Schedule:
Currently TSM is raiding all days but TUE and THURS.
Target is announced by raid leader after checking class and people show up at raid time.

Raid UI:
IMPORTANT
Make sure you have "Determinal Spell Effects Window" open all time, and keep it where you can check all time.
In some raids, if you miss certain debuff from encounter, and if you do not react to the debuff, you will cause raid wipe.

Make sure you have raid window open all time during raid. It is important even if you are dps class or healer or even tank. You have to be able to assist other raid member if needed by reading raid window.

sometime SOE buged the vc operation .(i cannot sure the problem solved or not)
command /voice invite [char id] can test ppl buged or not .
if got the bug . after joined will be kick out the vc or cannot revice the invite message.
if i remember, will try it .

I think SOE fixed almost all problem for most ppl, only very few ppl still have problem now.
For my situation, I found my vchat was never broken... It just VIVOX doesn't recognize "Chinese".
If your output device using a Chinese name, it will not shows in the vchat output device list.
That's why I can join vchat all the time, but I can't hear anything.
For someone not using English OS and have same problem like me, maybe you can try to change your output device name.
It works for me and Shadowslayer, maybe works for you too!

I have noticed that my Trend Firewall program would block the VC every time I logged in EQ2,
untill I set the firewall to ignore the VC program.

I'm still having problem with my USB soundcard as well.
My problem is I can select "input" device for USB soundcard, but cannot select for "output" device.
Pull down menu shows my USB device but not change device even I selected for output.

I too had problem for naming of device as it was Japanese, and had to re-name it to English to properly recognized (show up in pull down menu). This problem wasn't there prior to GU52 before Vivox thing... -_-;

Not sure how to solve this problem myself.

RaidNinja uses phpBB3's member database, so once you login to the forum, you are login to RaidNinja.

If there's a problem, try use the "keep me login automatically" option in the forum, then click RaidNinja.
