Mysterious Fears (神秘的恐懼)

起始地點: Feerrot (懼腐林) 的隧道內
起始NPC: Larg Buchanan (24, 0, -29)

Larg Buchanan is located at +24 0 -29, in the Feerrott. From the dock, head through the tunnel, and you'll find him just on the other side, to the right of the path.

Larg is seeking adventurers to explore the goings on in Feerrott.
Interested? Of course you are, because you know in advance that this is what you need to do to gain access to Shard of Fear! Isn't it great to be omniscient?

Accept Larg's quest, and you'll find he is concerned about an increase in fearful creatures in the caves leading off from the Dread Basin. He wants you to investigate.

1. I need to locate the caves deep within Dread Basin where the beasts reside.

The Dread Basin is at the far south-eastern side of Feerrott, and the caves are on the eastern side of that area (entrance at -1936, +510). The highest level mobs in the zone are down there, so you may wish to take some friends along unless you are very high level or foolhardy.

As soon as you enter the Cave of Fear, your quest will update.

2. I must hunt the beasts that congregate within the cave in search of my answers!

Start killing everything you come across, including such mobs as the Phantasm, Spinechiller, Glare Lord, Disciple of Fear and Horror Hound. With each kill you will lose faction with Minions of Fear! Oh noes! It's not like they liked you in the first place.

Eventually one of the kills will result in your finding a Gem of Terror.

3. I should inspect the Gem of Terror for any clues.
"This gem evokes terror in those that carry it. Such gems have only been known to originate in the Plane of Fear!"

The quest then ends, with money magically appearing (I got 3g, 12s, 77c at level 70), with the message, "Through my hunts I have found that the dark and grotesque beasts that congregate in the Cave of Fear originated in the Shard of Fear, another plane of existence!"

這任務是建立在完全不知道有 SoF 這個區域的情況下，所以透過任務你才了解到一些線索，
而檢視完 Gem 之後你才知道這顆珠寶跟 Plane of Fear 有關，然後經過推敲才想到 SoF 可能開了且是 PoF 的一部分。
