Speaking to Veris is what triggers the waves (if someone else has not already started it). If someone else has triggered the event, you can join in and get updates along with them. You can speak to him as much as you like to re-trigger it once it ends.If it looks like it's getting clogged up somewhere and nothing is spawning even after you speak to him, please let me know. The phrase you are looking for is "Unless my ears deceive me...etc". Clicking the response "I am on it!" will trigger the event. You should never have to wait for the event to begin. Edit: I just found a bug that can prevent the event from resetting properly after someone has completed it. I've fixed the issue, and will have it in with the next patch.
